DKT/MC5 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on June 15, 2004.
The band consisted of original MC5 members Wayne Kramer, Michael Davis, Dennis "Machine Gun" Thompson as well as Marshall Crenshaw (Beatlemania), Mark Arm (Mudhoney) and Evan Dando (Lemonheads). Apparently Evan Dando got heckled at every show they played, not just this one.
I don't have a ticket stub, recording or any other memorabilia from this show. If you do, could you let me know?
I did dig up some stuff online, like this "tourbook" listing the DKT/MC5 tour dates and set lists.
This show was a mixed bag, though I mostly enjoyed it. Evan Dando was pretty much a piece of shit...The surprise of the night for me was Marshall Crenshaw on guitar!

Wilco in NYC - I was there!
Tuesday, June 08, 2004
One of the first shows Wilco played in support of A Ghost Is Born was June 8, 2004 at Irving Plaza in New York City...The support act was The M's (and if anybody has a recording of that set, please let me know).
Ghost still holds up as one of my favorite records in a long, long time and this show's set was jam-packed with tracks from it.
Between Wilcobase and other sources I have been able to pull together a bunch of material from this show, including photos, a recording (available for download below) and a shot of the event poster.
The Setlist (and disc running order)...

The two-disc set of the show is available as two seperate zip archives containing the .wav files. They are big downloads but worth it...The source and lineage on the recordings are:
Source: DPA 4021 > Lunatec V3 > Sony M1
Transfer: Sony D8 > Emagic 6/2 > Peak 4.12 > xACT
