I don't have any momentos from this incredible performance, except the memory of being up very close to Ribot and attending the show with a good friend of mine who was familiar with Ribot from being a huge Tom Waits fan. This set blew our minds...

This band is Ribot's tribute to saxophone madman Albert Ayler and the line-up included Ribot, trumpeter Roy Campbell, drummer Chad Taylor, and the very special treat of bassist Henry Grimes. The line-up trades Ribot's guitar for Ayler's horn and was a delightful noise to behold!
