Music coverage in this week's New Yorker

Two great pieces this week...

The first, a piece by John Colapinto about Paul McCartney's new record, his reflections on the Beatles and some insight into where his head is at these days. The New Yorker's site has an MP3 interview with Colapinto discussing the making of the article and hanging with Paul.

The second item is a review of recent performances mixed with some historical profile details of jazz pianist Hank Jones. The whole piece is online here.
