Dorothy Ashby

I read this morning about how hot it has been for our West Coast brothers and sisters and thought I would post something to help cool them down...

Dorothy was a jazz harpist, who through some rare talent, was able to conjure up a little swing from the instrument. Throughout her career she played with a very broad spectrum of jazz and pop artists, including Louis Armstrong, Woody Herman, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Richard Davis, Dionne Warwick and others.
