It is easy to forget just exactly what it is that music can do for you...if you are like me, you surround yourself with music for as many of the waking hours as possible. Sometimes it is wallpaper, sometimes it is the focal point. Either way, I always want it there.I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. No reason in particular, or maybe a ton of reasons...who knows?
While I was going through my list of in-bound stuff to make sure I listen to before it gets lost in the endless GBs (my current backlog is 288 records) I came across Third World's Reggae Greats. I used to be resistant to Third World. I didn't think they were dread enough. Somewhere along the line I stopped caring about such things and just dug their soul and groove...
Music has saved me a million times and in a million ways. This record did it for me today.
