Music. In many forms, from all over the world.

Scott Amendola Band

So once again I find myself unable to believe that I am only hearing this music for the first time now. There is just so much music to discover and enjoy...

It seems like the music gods held a focus group, picked my brain and then created this band. I am hesitant to even call this music jazz but I think that is the most likely place to file it under...these are sharp compositions with some heated playing. I hear jazz, rock, klezmer, jam band, Appalachian sounds...great music.

The combined line-ups from these records include:

Jenny Scheinman - violin
Eric Crystal - saxophones
Todd Sickafoose - acoustic bass
Carla Bozulich - vocal
Nels Cline - electric guitars, lap steel guitar
Jeff Parker - electric guitar
John Shifflett - acoustic bass
Charlie Hunter - 7-string guitar
Scott Amendola - drums, percussion, loops, live electronics, treatments, electric mbira, melodica

Must have been the crazy holiday season... I could have sworn I did my usual Scott Amendola search in December - I missed this post - any chance you could post the links again?
